Whether you prefer timeless posed newborn portraits or natural lifestyle newborn photos, your session will be customized to fit your family's style. Newborn sessions take place in my dedicated Cheyenne studio, which is sanitized before and after each session to provide a comfortable environment for your family and new baby.
Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled when your baby is between 7 and 21 days old, but I am happy to discuss photographing older newborns as well.

Posed Newborn Photography Sessions
My posed newborn style is to pose your newborn safely and comfortably while keeping everything as natural as possible.

When choosing a posed newborn photographer, it is important that the photographer has training in how to pose your precious new baby safely to avoid strain or injury, particularly to the neck, while also monitoring circulation and comfort throughout the session. I have completed the APNPI Qualified Newborn Photographer Certification, the APNPI Safety Course, and received my accreditation in posed newborn photography. I have also completed extensive hands-on and online training with some of the best newborn photographers in the world.
I know how to pose your baby safely and allow your baby to guide the pace of the session. This is a skill that cannot be learned from a classroom or a book alone. Your newborn photographer should have hands-on knowledge specifically focused on handling and posing newborns safely. Newborn photography is unlike any other type of photography.
My editing philosophy is also to keep everything as natural as possible by removing temporary blemishes and discolorations while maintaining your baby's natural features and skin texture. I do not create composite images, use digital backgrounds, or perform poses that are unsafe for your sweet little baby.
All props, including buckets, beds, pails, wraps, outfits, and stuffed toys, are carefully selected, high-quality items and are included in the session fee. You do not need to bring anything except your baby. Posed newborn sessions take place exclusively in my dedicated Cheyenne studio, which is sanitized before and after every session. Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled when your baby is between 7 and 21 days old, but with my training and experience, I am happy to discuss photographing babies up to 6 weeks old.
Payment plans are available for all newborn sessions. I recommend booking as early as possible, ideally during your second trimester. Once your baby arrives, we can adjust your session date to accommodate your little one's arrival.

KISS (Keep It Sweet & Simple) Newborn
Includes 10 individually retouched high resolution digital photos
OPTION #1: Photos of the newborn ONLY. Poses are simple where the baby is wrapped and in props.
OPTION #2: Newborn and entire family poses (immediate family only), parent poses (individually & together), siblings poses (individually & together) and one simple individual newborn setup of baby in photographer’s provided wrap (on the back poses only). Session can be posed in the main studio or in the lifestyle studio. If you are choosing lifestyle in the studio, the details on what a lifestyle session entails is listed below under Lifestyle Newborn Session, but it is simpler than an in home session. The family dog* can be included. One outfit included for the family members.

Intimate Newborn
Includes 15 individually retouched high resolution digital photos
Newborn poses in props and on posing bag wrapped and in outfits then 1 of the following options:
OPTION #1: Photos of newborn with siblings only (individually and together)
OPTION #2: Photos of parents with newborn (together and individually). The family dog* can be included.
OPTION #3: Customized session for families of four (immediate family only - contact me about adding the family dog* to this option)
Option #3 can be upgrade to the family lifestyle poses in your home on a separate day and posed newborn in studio. Contact me for pricing and details.

This package is ideal for the new parents and their first baby or parents wanting only the newborn and photos with the siblings or it can be customized for smaller families with only 2 children. Option #1 & #2 do not include photos with the entire family (parents and multiple siblings) with the newborn or extended family members. Newborn setups can have a theme within reason and safety precautions. See add-ons below to add extended family members. For entire family sessions with more than 2 children (including the newborn), see KISS Option #2 or the Ultimate Package.
Ultimate Newborn
Includes 20 individually retouched high resolution digital photos
Newborn poses in props and on posing bag wrapped and in outfits
Multiple family poses, parents (individually & together), siblings (individually & together). The family dog* can be included. Poses can be in studio or in the lifestyle studio.
Session is split between two days: family with the newborn on one day and the newborn poses on another day.
Upgrade to the family lifestyle poses in your home on a separate day and posed newborn in studio. Contact me for pricing and details.

All edited photos are selected by the client from their online gallery
Customized &/or themed newborn sessions and outfit changes for siblings and parents can be requested and additional charges may apply. There is an additional fee for a customized setup for the newborn for the KISS package.

When should I book my newborn session?
The best time to reserve your newborn session is during your second trimester. Once your baby arrives, we will finalize your session date.
How old should my baby be for newborn photos?
Newborn sessions are ideally photographed between 7 and 21 days old, but older newborns may still be accommodated depending on your baby's age and development.
What is the difference between posed and lifestyle newborn photography?
Posed newborn photography focuses on carefully posed portraits of your baby using wraps, props, and studio lighting. Lifestyle newborn photography focuses on natural interactions and family connections in a more relaxed setting either in your home or my lifestyle studio
Do I need to bring props or outfits?
No. High-quality wraps, outfits, blankets, and props are provided for posed newborn sessions.
What if my baby arrives early or late?
Do not worry. Your due date is used as a placeholder, and your session date will be adjusted once your baby arrives.
Is newborn photography safe?
Yes. Your baby's safety is always my highest priority. I am APNPI Qualified, have completed newborn safety training, and have received accreditation in posed newborn photography.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available for newborn sessions.
* Clean well-behaved dogs that are potty trained are welcome in the studio that can either be held in someone’s arms the entire time or are able to obey commands to sit/lying down/stay.

Lifestyle Newborn In Your Home
Lifestyle newborn photography takes place in your home and are very casual. The photos highlight the new connection between the newborn and the family. There is limited posing like in a studio session and mostly you are guided through what to do to get more natural looking poses. You can pick an outfit for the newborn to wear or I can bring a wrap, sleeper and a headband/ hat if you wish. Lifestyle sessions do not include any props or posing like the sessions above but 1 setup can be added for a fee.
