Yes, to reserve your requested date and time, a booking fee of half the price of the chosen package must be received within 24 hours to hold the session.

The booking fee is non-refundable if you cancel, do not show up or change the engagement.

Payments are accepted via Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, credit or debit card (service fees apply) or cash/check dropped off at studio ( must be received before session is guaranteed.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Rescheduling is permitted with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability.

• Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of the booking fee.

• In case of illness (especially for newborns or children), we understand emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.

• If the session has to be cancelled due to weather, the session will be rebooked, and the booking fee retained and applied to another session. The session must be within 6 months of the original booked session.

• If Debi Spencer-Zerby Photography must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of any payments made.

Yes, once we have agreed to a date, time and location, Debi will send you a contract to sign digitally and return within 24 hours to hold the session.

Please arrive a little bit before your session so we can start on time and not take any time away from your session.

If you are late beyond 10 minutes, the late fee is $50 for the Photographer to wait up to 20 minutes from the start time for you to arrive and only if time allows will the session be able to take place prior to another photography session that may be booked.

• Due to the custom and digital nature of photography, no refunds are given for completed sessions or delivered digital photos.

• If you are dissatisfied with your experience, please contact us—we strive to resolve concerns professionally and compassionately.

Debi Spencer-Zerby Photography has a home studio located in Cheyenne, Wyoming where Debi photographs newborns, children, families, professional headshots or individual portrait sessions. There is also a lifestyle room if you do not want to take photos in your own home. The lifestyle room is also use for Christmas Pajama Sessions.

Your outdoor session can be in a variety of locations in the Cheyenne, Laramie and beyond as well as south west Nebraska or northern Colorado. Debi will help you decide on a location that suits your family or type of session you want to book. A few locations require permission, park fee or permit.

KISS packages include locations n Cheyenne only otherwise there is a travel fee. All other packages include locations up to a 30 mile radius from the studio. Locations beyond 30 miles will incur a travel fee based on the roundtrip mileage and time to travel.

Debi retouches each photo individually to take out blemishes, scratches, bruises or slight discolouration and small areas or spots, which will be included in the price. Other special editing requests can be done for an additional fee.

Yes, as a part of the creative process, Debi personally directs every session and edits each digital photo individually to reflect her personal touch and style.
She uses technology and software behind the scenes to help her in her editing workflow. For Example:

• Imagen helps cull large sets of digital photos, so I can focus on selecting the best photos from your session.

• Lightroom is her primary editing tool for almost all outdoor sessions, with Photoshop and Evoto used only for final, polished retouching or removing unwanted items in the background such as other people.

• For the studio sessions, she mostly uses Lightroom, Photoshop and Evoto for retouching and to extend backdrops.

• Portrait Pro and Evoto assist her with retouching on problematic skin issues such as acne or scaring, but only used at the request of the client.

• She sometimes use ChatGPT to assist with drafting blog posts, emails, social media posts or other written materials for the website, but it is always guided by her own style of writing and it helps with typos.

These tools help her work more efficiently and maintain consistent quality, but your session, final edited photos, and artistic setups are 100% authentically created by her and not AI. In the future if she adds any AI components, it will be discussed with the client.

All Debi’s photographs are copyright protected and therefore, cannot be altered, changed from colour to black and white, reproduced, scanned or copied. Debi does not provide the RAW images or soft edit/proofs.

• Timelines and turnaround will be on your contract at the top. The length of time from the session to the delivery of final digital photos depends on many factors such as the busy fall/Christmas season can take up to 4-5 weeks depending on the number of favourite digital photos the client has chosen in their gallery to be fully edited.

• Clients pick their own photos from a proofing gallery, and then once the client’s favourite are shared, the final edits are started.

• Galleries will be delivered via Pixieset with download access.

• Galleries remain available for 1 week after delivery.

Yes, Debi Spencer-Zerby Photography offers a wide selection of printing options from prints of all sizes and textures, canvases, framed art and announcement card for your baby, high school senior or engagement. When you receive your final gallery, the directions for ordering will be in the email with the final edited photos.
